A DSG service is not a universal “oil change”. Wet-clutch, dry-clutch, longitudinal S tronic and other DCT families use different fluids, filters, fill points, temperatures and level procedures. The transmission code and vehicle schedule are checked before the service is quoted.
A Transmission Service May Include
- VIN and transmission-code confirmation.
- Correct approved fluid and filter where specified.
- Temperature-controlled level setting using the applicable procedure.
- Inspection for leakage, debris, burnt odour and abnormal fluid condition.
- Fault-memory and service-condition review where relevant.
- Road test and final leak check.
Servicing cannot reverse existing mechanical or mechatronic damage, but correct maintenance helps protect wet clutches, hydraulic control and internal components.
