Dual-clutch technology is sold under many names: Volkswagen DSG, Audi S tronic, Porsche PDK, Renault EDC, Alfa TCT, Ford PowerShift, BMW M DCT, Mercedes-Benz DCT, Mitsubishi TC-SST, Lamborghini LDF and other manufacturer-specific systems.
They share the principle of two clutch paths, but they do not share one repair procedure. Clutch type, hydraulic design, software, service requirements and parts support vary significantly.
