The DQ381 is a 7-speed, wet dual-clutch design rated to approx. 420 Nm of torque. The DQ381 sits between the DQ250 and DQ500 in torque capacity, and is used across a wide spread of higher-output hatchbacks and compact SUVs where a dry clutch would be undersized.
Mechatronic faults on the DQ381 typically present as limp mode, a stored fault light, or hesitation and jerky shifts.
